She is motivated by the belief that yoga allows us to connect more deeply with ourselves, with empathy and non-judgment, which in turn allows for more compassionate connections with each other. Kat’s classes are a canvas of dynamic movement, breath, and self-inquiry. Her fascination with the boundless healing power of yoga is reflected in her extensive training (below). Having been a yoga student and practitioner since 2002, Kat’s dedication to the practice led her to become a teacher in 2016. She has always been involved in serving in some way, and now with the founding of Evergreen Farm located on her family’s 150-acre historic farm, she is thrilled to be bringing yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and general wellness to the community at large as well as into schools.
